Before we get into the future, we should acknowledge that Lost Signal Brewing Company has released a new beer this week, Beach Party IPA, and they are having fun stuff all week, like Luau Rib Tacos special that runs until the 10th. Beach Party IPA is a pineapple and coconut IPA, which sounds like it would be mighty tasty with some tacos.

Further out, but on the radar:
The 8th Annual Tour De Crawdad is in Mother’s Backyard on April 17th. This is an annual charity bike ride that benefits Champions Committed to Kids. You can go for a 25, 40, or 60 mile ride or you can just come hang out and eat crawfish cooked by The Cajun Cooker. If you’re not big on shellfish, you can always have a hamburger, too.
Tie & Timber Beer Company 3rd Anniversary Shebang! is on May 1st starting at noon. Acts include the Shandies, MarleyGrass, Rea, Moore, Newman, and The Hook Knives. They’ll also be releasing several beers that day. Stay tuned.
Hey! We’re back and working on some new features, hoping to get some great profiles going, and renewing the Rundown and What’s On Tap! for your enjoyment.
There’s going to be some slow starting here, but since the site has been dormant for a couple of years, we need to spin some things up. I’m currently working on a heat map of sorts using the Untappd API that will allow you to see where the most recent check-ins are happening across the city, but that may be a little bit away.
In the meantime, I’ll start getting some Rundown posts ready for you and hopefully a feature article or two about some of the local breweries.
Do you have something you want us to cover or an idea for a local beer feature or a widget for the site? Let us know. We want to make this site a great go-to for all things local beer in 417 land.
